- Keyword placement is very important. This is why you should always include keywords in the headline. Additionally, spread them out throughout the body of the article several times.
- Always pay attention to your keyword density. This is the number of times your keywords appear in relationship to the number of total words in the article. A good rule of thumb is to keep your keywords to no more than one appearance per 100 words. But, never go beyond five percent density.
- Always include links to other high-ranking websites or relevant articles on your own website. These go a long way to helping you achieve higher search engine ranking, especially if you’re linking to very popular websites.
- It’s become a cliché, but content is king. It’s not enough to have content on your page, but it needs to be quality content. Make sure it is interesting and engaging as well as readable.
